Europasaurus holgeri [BB]

Europasaurus is a fascinating genus of dwarf sauropod dinosaurs that lived around 154 million years ago, during the Late Jurassic period. Discovered in what is now Germany, it is among the smallest known sauropods, measuring only about 6 meters (20 feet) in length. This unique characteristic is attributed to insular dwarfism, a phenomenon where species evolve smaller sizes when isolated in limited environments, like islands.

This piece is a hand painted resin Europasaurus holgeri skull. Digitally sculpted in ZBrush and 3D printed, it employs magnets to link the mandible to the skull.

Available in 1:2 scale, mouth closed. 

 **some minor damage in the right maxilla [see pic] which will be given a slight resculpt & fresh coat of paint.
