Pliosaurus kevani

Pliosaurus kevani was a giant marine reptile from the Jurassic period, around 150 million years ago. This apex predator had a massive skull, approximately 2 meters long, and robust, conical teeth ideal for gripping prey. Its body was streamlined for powerful swimming, equipped with strong flippers. Discovered in Dorset, England, P. kevani represents one of the largest pliosaurs, with estimates suggesting it reached lengths of up to 10 meters. It likely preyed on other marine reptiles, fish, and cephalopods.
